Service On Mechanical Watches (Wrist, Pocket And Pendant Watches) Includes:

Complete disassembly of your timepiece
Preliminary cleaning of individual parts by hand
Follow-up in our ultrasonic cleaning machine
Re-lubrication of crucial parts to ensure lasting performance
Reassembly by one of our certified jewelers
Initial calibration by hand, followed by electronic calibration via our in-house timing machine, making adjustments as needed to ensure lasting accuracy
Final cleaning of the case, the band (if metal), dial and hands, and crystal (if plastic).

Optional Cleaning Service: The case, band, dial, and hands are meticulously cleaned and polished (if applicable), as to not compromise the integrity of the original finish. Plastic crystals are polished as much as possible and in most cases, the original luster is completely restored.

MECHANICAL WATCH MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR

Should your mechanical watch stop running, or if it runs faster or slower it may require a complete movement service to restore factory calibration.

Complete Movement Service – Mechanical Watch

Our complete movement service is a comprehensive process that starts with the watchmaker inspecting your timepiece to determine which repairs are needed. Next, your timepiece is completely disassembled, piece by piece, and parts are placed in a specialized cleaning machine. At the same time, the case and bracelet are cleaned ultrasonically, (polishing optional) and reassembled. After the watch parts are thoroughly cleaned, the watchmaker painstakingly reassembles your watch and lubricates with specialized synthetic oils. Defective parts are repaired or replaced as deemed necessary. Adjustments and fine-tuning assure accurate timekeeping.

Your timepiece is then tested on our state-of-the-art timing equipment and final adjustments are made. If your watch is water-resistant we will test the water resistance to factory specifications and replace components such as the crown, crystal, buttons, or gaskets as deemed necessary, in order to restore the water-resistance of your watch to factory specifications.

From there, your watch goes over to Quality Control – “QC”. We will wind your timepiece and perform extended-length testing to be certain that it keeps accurate time in all positions, and that the day and date dials (if applicable) change properly. If your watch is an automatic wind, we will place your watch on a winding wheel that simulates the motion of your wrist to see if your watch winds appropriately and runs accurately. Our complete movement service carries a one year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. We cannot warranty your watch against dropping, damage, corrosion, or any repairs not performed by our technicians.

Watch Maintenance

Many manufacturers recommend routine servicing of your mechanical watch, even if it is running properly. This preventative maintenance, as described in the complete movement service section above, removes dirt and grime that may have accumulated in your watch, and which cause the finely fit pivot points to wear. Your cleaned, oiled, reassembled, time tested and pressure tested timepiece will perform longer and better with routine maintenance.

If you value your watch or timepiece, you will want to keep it maintained, just as you would your car or any other valuable piece of machinery. From the most modern watches to vintage pieces, all watches succumb to both time and the elements. Dust, moisture, impact, and simple normal mechanical movement will wear down your watch parts. Regular maintenance will help keep your watch operating as it should. We recommend routine cleaning on your mechanical watch every three years to five years.

Bought my grandson his first watch for Christmas 2021. He loved it, but after about 4 months the crystal developed fog under it. I called them and explained my situation, and was told to send the watch back to them for repair. After a short time we hadn't heard any news from the fellow we were dealing with, so I called them back and spoke to a girl named Tatiana. She was very polite and professional, and after listening to my story, said they would get on it right away - I mean right NOW - and test the watch to see what the problem was. After only a couple of hours she text me what the problem was and that it had partially already been fixed, but that a part was needed to complete the job. I have to hand it to Titiana, although she was obviously very busy, she did everything she said she was going to do and kept me informed of what was going on via text. When the part came in a couple of days later, she text and informed me that the watch was mailed out that day and I should get it within a day or so. She even provide a tracking number for me. I have to say that this was NOT an expensive watch(being the first one for the grandson), but Titiana treated the situation like it was, and rendered truly personable service, of which I am very grateful.
